Product Description

Plus, MyPhones’ ear caps have decorative inserts that are easy to change out. MyPhones’ package comes with 3 pre-made ear caps and some blank templates to make your own (and if you run out of templates, you can download more from this website.)
The Case

The MyPhones case isn’t just packaging — it’s designed to be used as a carrying case for your MyPhones. Plus, just like MyPhones, the case is customizable. The package comes with 3 pre-made inserts, as well as blank templates to make your own. (And, just like the ear caps, you can always print more templates.)

Let your kids get creative
MyPhones (and the MyPhones carrying case) are fully customizable with paper inserts, so just like kids, no two MyPhones are alike. Plus, if your little one is especially proud of their work, you can send in a picture of their creation and we’ll feature it on the Griffin photostream!

MyPhones comes with a set of blank templates, but if you need more, just download them here to cut & print at home for arts & crafts time.

Great for your kids ears
MyPhones have been built to cap volume at 85 decibels. That’s the maximum sustained volume level recommended by many regulatory agencies, including the U.S.A.’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Centers for Disease Control. At this time, there are no “maximum safe volume for kids” regulations from the government or the U.S. medical community. (We were surprised about that too.)

However, most doctors and other experts agree that the best way to protect kids’ hearing is to limit both the volume of things like MP3 players, and how long kids are allowed to listen to them. (An hour or two at most is a good idea.)

So even though MyPhones help, we still recommend that you supervise your young person’s listening habits. Even professional musicians take frequent opportunities to rest their ears. Kids’ ears deserve the same care.
