Product Description
Pathfinders are innovative wooden kits that build working replicas of two of the most powerful medieval siege engines - weapons that once smashed down castle and fortress walls! The kits are based on historic designs. The materials are just wood, rope and leather joined by wooden dowels, not screws or nails.
No elastic, rubber, motor or batteries are used to create the movement of the devices' swing arms. All pieces are pre-cut and drilled, requiring only PVA adhesive to assemble. The catapult can shoot a ball of soft modelling clay (included in kits) over 5m, and the trebuchet over 6m!
While these scale models will only be smashing down imaginary castle walls, they are loads of fun to build and use!
